Acceptance vs. Resistance?
Rebel against acceptance? Resist acceptance? Rebel for acceptance?
First determine whether you are fighting against some injustice or for a just cause. Make sure to -- if you absolutely have to fight against something -- convert your destructive, negating goal into a favorable outcome that is worth fighting for.
Accept what you cannot change, retain your vision, keep your dreams alive, and rebel against that which is restraining your true freedom. Recognize and define what you are fighting for and what you are fighting against. You may be surprised by your answers.
Start with acceptance and rebel against and resist constructively what remains unacceptable showing even the slightest hint of possible change, improvement, or even liberation.
Resist the temptation to explain your shortcomings with the notion of fate guiding you. Always act on top of fate. Make it a habit to attribute success instead of failure to fate.
You may want to evade or even fight the critique, rebel. Consider your options --
- Refuse allegiance to and oppose by force a ruling authority.
- Resist and defy a generally accepted convention.
- Feel and express strong unwillingness or repugnance.
On the other hand, here is my proposal --
- Approve and receive favorably.
- Believe in something and agree.
Naturally, you can never accept my conditions, but...
I suspect we will end up rebelling in order to be accepted. You never really fight against anything, you fight everyone out of fear that someone would possibly not accept you. Preemptive resistance is just as self-fulfilling as everything else is.
Once you start consciously fighting for your cause and transcend and leave behind all that is negative and resenting, you will finally succeed. Here is the secret: There is no enemy. Please keep in mind though, that you do manifest, exactly what you think you deserve...
